The shore excursion commences as the boat sets sail at 06:30 A.M. from Mirissa, the largest fishing port situated on the captivating south coast of Sri Lanka. Mirissa is renowned as a prime location for whale and dolphin watching, offering breathtaking sunsets to behold. 

During the excursion, you will encounter a variety of whale species, including the majestic sperm whales, humpback whales, and the awe-inspiring blue whales. If luck is on your side, you may even catch a glimpse of killer whales, also known as orcas. 

Among the playful dolphin species that grace these waters, keep an eye out for the energetic bottlenose dolphins, acrobatic spinner dolphins, graceful Risso’s dolphins, and striking striped dolphins. These captivating creatures will swim alongside the boat, joyfully leaping out of the water, leaving you mesmerized. 

For the optimal whale watching experience, it is recommended to plan your trip between November and April when visiting the southern region of Sri Lanka.

Boat will return back to the shore after 02 ½ to 03 Hours.
