In Hikkaduwa divers can easily reach many historic shipwrecks nearby. You will be able to dive to the first underwater museum build in Sri Lanka, which opened up for the public in 2020.
Hikkaduwa Underwater National Park many more present for a diver who loves to explore the underwater world. If you are a pro diver with PADI Certificate, you will be able to explore more reefs and shipwrecks in this underwater paradise. But don’t be disappointed, Hikkaduwa is the best place for beginner and even for people who can’t swim.
If you are a macro photographer you can search for nudibranchs, crabs, shrimps, electric rays, pipefish, sea moths and other critters on the rocky reefs.
After exploring this new underwater world, before you head back to the base, enjoy a relaxed lunch by looking at the sea.
